  Florida Call-A-Law

  WHAT IS FLORIDA CALL-A-LAW?

Florida Call-A-Law is a collection of recorded messages on a variety of basic legal topics written by Florida attorneys. The tapes are two to three minutes long and are easy to understand.

  WHAT FLORIDA CALL-A-LAW IS NOT
Florida Call-A-Law cannot replace the legal advice of an attorney or answer specific legal questions. The tapes provide general legal information which does not apply to all legal problems. It is merely intended to help you identify a legal problem before seeking professional counsel. If you believe you need legal advice, call your attorney. If you do not have an attorney, call The Florida Bar Lawyer Referral Service at 1-800-342-8011 or the local lawyer referral service or legal aid office listed in the yellow pages of your telephone book.

  HOW TO USE FLORIDA CALL-A-LAW
Using Florida Call-A-Law is easy! Just call (850) 561-1200 on a push button telephone. All available tapes are listed by number below. Listen to as many tapes as you wish. This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Florida Call-A-Law does not have a toll-free number. If you are dialing long-distance, you will have to pay for the call. Because Florida Call-A-Law is available all day, every day, you can save money by calling during off-peak hours.

Each Call-A-Law message can also be accessed on The Florida Bar's website at http://www.flabar.org/tfb/TFBConsum.nsf/48e76203493b82ad852567090070c9b9/6dfeb81753e3cd5685256b2f006c5d0f?OpenDocument
